Terms & conditions of our guarantees.

The natural materials that we use to make each of our pieces will grow & age with you as it settles into your home. Each and every item is unique and different to next. This is part of the beauty of owning a one-of-a-kind piece of genuine handcrafted wooden furniture. These differences in character are not defects but markers of nature’s handwriting.

  1. The guarantee starts from the date of receiving the goods.
  2. Still and Bloom requires proof of purchase in order to make a warranty claim.
  3. Still and Bloom must be notified of any defect and given the opportunity to remedy it. Any remedial work carried out by a third party will invalidate any warranty.
  4. The product has not been misused or handled carelessly and has not been willfully damaged or used in abnormal conditions.
  5. Direct delivery and returns of bulky items will be handled by Still and Bloom couriers only. Customers who insist on using their own couriers may do so at their own risk. Still and Bloom will not accept responsibility for items damaged in transit by any other couriers.
  6. The product has not been modified, altered or transformed in any way and repairs have not been attempted in any way in contrast to Still and Bloom advice.
  7. Appropriate maintenance must be carried out in accordance with Still and Bloom care instructions. Still and Bloom will not be responsible for any defects due to the application of any treatment product other than Still and Bloom recommended products.
  8. The warranty does not apply to usual wear and tear, meaning dents or scratches or normal deterioration that occurs through regular use. It does not cover any deterioration due to the usual weathering process such as fading, cracking, fragmenting, splintering and splitting.
  9. As your item(s) settles and adjust to the environment in your home, parts of the surface of the wood may loosen, lift or fragment which may result in sharp or jagged splinters. This is pat of the natural aging process of timber and regular checks should be carried out by the user to ensure the wood is safe for use. Maintenance should be undertaken by the user to remove or make good any areas of concern. As such Still and Bloom can not accept liability for any injury caused by surface imperfections such as splinters or sharp fragments.
  10. If a product has to be replaced and that particular product is no longer available, Still and Bloom reserve the right to use an alternative similar product.
  11. The cost of transportation of goods to be repaired or exchanged is covered for Mainland UK only and only for the first year. Outside of these time constraints the transportation costs to the Still and Bloom Head Office are the responsibility of the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
  12. It is normal for solid wood to expand and shrink with differences in temperature and humidity. Therefore it’s normal for small cracks and gaps to appear in the wood over time. The Breadboard Ends of the dining tables are designed to expand and contract and may become a little larger than the table width in time – this is a natural and normal feature.”

These guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse of your goods, loss or damage (including rusting and corrosion) due to unreasonable exposure to water, heat or weather; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, explosion, lightning, sunlight, infestation by animals or boring insects, damage by animals generally or theft, or accidental damage or loss caused by a third party.
