Our Character Grade Wood:

We use character grade rustic Scandinavian Spruce for the construction and this is full of lovely grain shakes, knots and small imperfections which we feel only adds to the character an unique handmade nature of the product. Solid woods silver in colour overtime in sunlight and may expand and shrink with differences in
temperature and humidity. Therefore it’s normal for small cracks and gaps to appear in the wood over time. Please see below our Outdoor Wood Care guide for more information on what to expect and how to look after this product.

Finish: Our solid wood outdoor furniture is finished in a sustainable natural oil. This penetrates deep into the wood and attaches to the wood capillaries providing protection against extreme climate conditions through a highly water repellent, weather and UV resistant surface. To keep the product looking its best and well protected we advise the product is recoated with Exterior Oil at least once a year, which can be purchased through our website here: Exterior Oil Recoat

We also recommend the product is covered or stored in the dry during the winter months when not in use.

Care: Solid woods may expand and shrink with differences in
temperature and humidity. Therefore it’s normal for small cracks and gaps to appear in the wood over time. We recommend that all kitchenware and beverages should be placed on mats and any spillages should be wiped away immediately.

Cleaning: To clean, wipe with a damp cloth before buffing with a dry cloth. In the event of more stubborn marks, a solution of diluted soap should be used on the cloth. Silicone based polishes should not be used on the wood as they will build up and leave a sticky residue on the surface. Also avoid using sanitisers and bleach as they break down the chemical properties of causing it to soften. Softer oil is more likely to peel or discolour and is more easily marked.

Heat: Never place hot items such as dishes directly onto the table without using a heat resistant mat or trivet as direct heat will draw out the moisture in the wood leaving a ring mark ingrained into the wood.

DELIVERY:
Delivery will usually be made within 3-5 working days once your order is complete. We use a two man delivery service, who will contact you directly after dispatch to arrange a suitable day and time for delivery. Please ensure suitable access. Please note we offer Free Delivery to UK Mainland only. 

Remote area delivery:

Unfortunately we cannot deliver any of our Dining Tables outside of the UK mainland. This includes Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and certain areas postcodes  in Scotland (IV16 and above, KW, PA20 and above, PH20 and above)

For delivery to the Scottish postcodes IV-IV15 , PA-PA19, PH-PH19, DD and AB, we can deliver our Dining Tables, however there will be an additional delivery charge. Please contact us for a quote.
