Still & Bloom checking in

Our recent collaboration with Minni Parker Designs at the iconic Headland Hotel.

We always want to tell a story with our pieces and collections. It’s at the heart of everything we do, it’s why projects like our recent collaboration at The Headland feel so meaningful. The launch of the Minni Parker Best Family Suite is a celebration of heritage, thoughtful design, and sustainability, values we share deeply.

We love working with designers who have a shared vision and know the importance of showcasing British design, trades and manufacturing. There’s also something uniquely powerful about the connection to place. Many of Britain’s seaside towns rely on tourism, their identities shaped by both history and creativity. By bringing in local design and manufacturing within these settings, we’re contributing to that shared story which is very special.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Katharine at Minni Parker for choosing furniture, and textiles made in Britain, like Still & Bloom, as it is more than a design decision; it’s a commitment to supporting the very local economies that small family businesses, like ours, depends on. When hospitality spaces are shaped by home-grown talent, materials, and craftsmanship, they don’t just look beautiful, they feel rooted. They carry a sense of place that guests can connect with, and that story is unmistakably British.

Still & Bloom, here to stay

Based in Hampshire, we design and handcraft our furniture locally, focusing on timeless pieces - side tables, coffee tables, and dining tables -that are made to last. Every item is brought to life by skilled craftspeople using sustainable materials and traditional methods. It’s a slower, more considered way of working, but one that ensures each piece has integrity, longevity, and purpose.

For our founder, Nick Fisher, this philosophy has always been the foundation of Still & Bloom.

“By producing furniture in the UK rather than importing mass-manufactured pieces from overseas, we help sustain local jobs, reduce the environmental impact of long-distance shipping, and preserve the heritage of British craftsmanship,” Nick explains.

“So when we were approached to supply key pieces for the launch of the Minni Parker Best Family Suite, we were over the moon. To be part of such an iconic destination as The Headland felt like a full-circle moment, it’s a place filled with classic design that inspired me on a family holiday a few years ago.”

Our role was to ground that vision in furniture that complements and enhances the space. Pieces that feel considered but not overstated. Functional yet quietly characterful. Furniture that belongs.

Projects like this highlight why it’s so important for British manufacturers to be part of hospitality design. When venues invest in UK-made furniture and materials, they’re not just creating beautiful interiors, they’re strengthening a network of artisans, makers, and small businesses that keep regional industries alive.

For us, it’s simple: great spaces are built on great stories. And the best stories are the ones that are made, not manufactured.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in this one.
